Do you find yourself calling several people a day for non-business reasons? Do you find that when you can't through to talk to one person, you call another person, then another? Do you find yourself calling the same person two, three times in a day, if you can't reach that person? Do you find your day incomplete if you haven't called anyone? Do you feel insecure if you aren't telling someone something about your life?
Do you find, when you leave messages, that you aren't leaving messages? Do you say "please call back", but don't have anything to talk about in particular? Do you dread the idea of being cut off from your friends, even for a few days? Do you find yourself on vacation, wanting to call your friends to see how they are doing, instead of enjoying the vacation?
When you get email, do you feel it's of utmost importance to write back? Do you get upset when other people don't reply to your email? Do you demand people email you back? Do you send two, three, four emails to the same person in a day?
That is a sign of addiction.
I think I better call someone to talk about it.
